The Histories of Internet Art: Fictions and Factions site tracks the early (and continuous) developments in the net art scene. From the years 2000-2007, HIAFF was built by students in taking classes and collaborating with each in the TECHNE practice-based research lab at the University of Colorado in Boulder. The site is a living archive of what many consider the first continuous and collaborative net art site featuring primarily undergraduate students in an American university. In the archive, visitors will find email and video conversations with pioneers of early net art, streaming media performances, student net art curations, experiments in electronic writing and publishing and, yes, many dead links. If you see a dead link that you can bring back to life, please email us.
