[Intro]
Through narrative and the characters Duck at the Door, Orion 17, and Dr. Ian Anders,
concepts of one's identity in the real world and the world with in the construct come
into question. As the story chapters run, different forms of interactivity engage the
viewer. One is called to ponder how the physical self and the cyborg cell.v relate to
one another. It brings about thoughts of deconstruction of one identity for the other.
With floating lyrics like, "even a cell phone knows the sound of it own static,"
contemplation of everything containing an identity in the cyberworld becomes present.
Chroma challenges its viewer to think about the association within the realms of self
and cell.ves, cell.ves and the technology that produces such identities, and the value
of identity in all spaces. |
